Jack in the Box (JACK) Stock Is Gaining in After-Hours Trading Today After Earnings Beat

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Jack in the Box were gaining 2.6% to $73.35 after-hours Tuesday after the fast food chain beat analysts' estimates for earnings and revenue in the fiscal fourth quarter. Jack in the Box reported earnings of 54 cents a share for the fiscal fourth quarter, beating analysts' estimates of 53 cents a share. Revenue grew 2% from the year-ago quarter to $344.69, compared to analysts' estimates of $342.28 million for the fourth quarter. The company said that same-store sales grew 3.1% at Jack in the Box stores in the quarter, and 7.7% at its Qdoba Mexican Grill stores. Jack in the Box expects to report earnings of $2.73 to $2.88 a share for full year 2015. Analysts' expect earnings of $2.81 a share for the year.
