Analysts' Actions -- AMC, Akamai, EMC, PulteGroup and More

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- RATINGS CHANGES AMC was downgraded to neutral at MKM Partners. Valuation call, based on a 12-month price target of $37, MKM Partners said. Akamai was initiated with a hold rating at Deutsche Bank. Twelve-month price target is $73. Company is facing currency pressure that is not yet reflected in consensus expectations, Deutsche Bank said. EMC was downgraded at FBN Securities to sector perform from outperform. Twelve-month price target is $27. Checks show a weak enterprise storage market and increased competition, FBN Securities said. Morgan to underweight from neutral. Twelve-month price target is $43. Expect group to underperform through the summer after a strong year-to-date rally, J.P. Morgan said. Pier 1 was upgraded at Wedbush to outperform from neutral. Twelve-month price target is $16. Company is likely done investing and profit growth is in sight, Wedbush said. PulteGroup was downgraded at J.P. Morgan to underweight from neutral. Valuation call, based on a 12-month price target of $21, J.P. Morgan said. Rexnord was downgraded at Deutsche Bank to hold from buy. $27 price target. Estimates were also cut, given lower expected organic growth, Deutsche Bank said.
